Special Educational Needs
Our Universal Offer supports all children in all classrooms and is the foundation of our inclusive school. It removes common barriers that children can experience in a classroom and ensures that children receive effective classroom support before additional interventions are considered.
Where children require further support and intervention beyond the Universal Offer, a SEND support plan is written for children with SEND which outlines their needs, approaches and additional resources needed. This is written by class teachers, in conjunction with the SENCo, pupils and their families.
If you are concerned about the progress your child is making or you think they may have additional needs, you should speak to your child's class teacher in the first instance.
